Noah - 2021 Senior - Baseball, Racing, Cars, Golf Senior Portraits - Lynchburg VA

Noah has a lot of interests and I did my best to capture all of it! I am pretty sure Noah won’t want to take anymore pictures for awhile. He was a good sport though. I really enjoyed getting to capture his many interests and that 57 Chevy was beautiful! I almost didn't ask them to open the trunk but so glad I did it was a perfect place for him to sit and my favorite out of all of his images!!

I love that Noah has all of these interests! It is important to be well rounded. I mean.. he’s working on a race car with his Dad and Grandfather, the memories alone are worth it, but there is also the mechanical aspect of that. Learning Team work on the baseball team. The solitude of golf and having an interest that will take him past high school into adult hood. Again something he can do with is Dad too! Appreciating that beautiful 57 Chevy that belongs to his Grandfather! I hate that this past year has taken away some of these things from our kids and teens and I hope that they all come back soon. They will really miss out on part of learning and growing if it doesn’t. Learning isn’t just about what is inside of our textbooks.

Katie - 2021 Senior - Dance Senior Portraits in the City - Lynchburg VA Senior Photographer

THIS SESSION! I have worked with dancers before but never one that dedicated the whole session to dance and we shot in the city! Yes! Then she shows up with that gorgeous hair! Another Yes! I loved just getting to walk around and get her to do different poses and dance around downtown! It was fun to incorporate doors, a bike rack, and all kinds of things into the poses. I just wish we could have shot for hours longer! ;)

Carly - 2021 Senior - Softball, Basketball and Summer Senior Session!!

This young lady was such a joy to work with! Her main focus was Softball so we concentrated our session there. We spend about 20 minutes doing some casuals around my property then up to the Softball field we went. Oh and we got a few Basketball done as well.

I have shot on this softball field many times, so keeping all the sessions different can be a challenge. So I had an idea to put sparklers behind her in the fence. I had zero idea if this would work and didn’t get the idea until the last minute so no time to practice. (my brain often works like this). BUT… they turned out great! Only did two shots like this but you really don't need anymore than that. But really something unique for her to have.

Anna - 2021 Senior - Summer Senior Portraits - Rustburg VA Senior Photographer

We shot Anna’s portraits on her family’s property. We got to use an old house for some which offered something different for us to start with. Then we went beside the lake and shot in that area. I love the reflection the lake gave us of the sky and the tall reeds!

It was a bit hot but she rocked it! I love that she pulled her hair back for some. It’s an easy way to get some different looks!

Thanks Anna for braving the heat so beautifully!
