Carly - 2021 Senior - Softball, Basketball and Summer Senior Session!!

This young lady was such a joy to work with! Her main focus was Softball so we concentrated our session there. We spend about 20 minutes doing some casuals around my property then up to the Softball field we went. Oh and we got a few Basketball done as well.

I have shot on this softball field many times, so keeping all the sessions different can be a challenge. So I had an idea to put sparklers behind her in the fence. I had zero idea if this would work and didn’t get the idea until the last minute so no time to practice. (my brain often works like this). BUT… they turned out great! Only did two shots like this but you really don't need anymore than that. But really something unique for her to have.

Lindsie - Rustburg High - Class of 2017 {Central Virginia Senior Photography}

Lindsie is the catcher for Rustburg's softball team.  She plays a lot of softball, for both the high school and on a travel team.  After high school she plans to play for Lynchburg College!  I met her and her parents first at the softball field, then we met up another evening at a local farm.  It was hot!  It was nice when we did the creek shots because the water was so cool.  

On the photos at the red barn there was a black mini horse that decided he wanted to be in her portraits.  She was ok with that.  He's cute back there.  We used a little smoke in some of her softball pics for something a little different.

Megan - Softball - RHS Class of 2016 - {Virginia Senior Girl Photographer}

I was excited to get a chance to capture Megan in her domain.  The softball field!  I am pretty sure she has spent hours and hours on the mound throwing.  Her dedication has paid off and she will be attending Campbell University and playing for them after she graduates next year.  

I had a great time capturing her.  We did some in her uniform, sporting her college t-shirt and a very cute, softball appropriate outfit.  I love the baseball T and chucks!!!

It took me a few times to press the shutter at just the right time to get her at the top while she was pitching, but I got it and she got in a little practice!
