Kate - EC Glass - Summer, Sunflower field Senior Portraits - Lynchburg VA Photographer

Kate wanted sunflowers for her senior portraits. So I found a field and off we went. Not gonna lie it was hot and a scheduling conflict kept us from shooting in the evening, however, the sun backlighting these flowers is beautiful!!! The petals really glow! Kate is an adventurous girl spending time hiking in Utah (I think it was Utah?) for a month this summer! What an awesome experience!! She is also an activist who wanted to show off her jacket with her buttons. I encourage all seniors to bring along items that mean something to them. It could be a piece of jewelry, a special blanket and in this case a jacket!

Thank you Kate for asking me to take your senior portraits. I enjoyed working with you and hope you had fun as well!

Caleb - LCA - Senior Portraits featuring Football and Hunting - Lynchburg VA

Caleb’s session happened on one of the hottest days this summer. But since we got permission to use the LU Football Stadium we went on with it. It has got to be pretty amazing to get to play your high school football games in such an amazing stadium.

We headed to a nearby farm to do some hunting pictures. I have done many hunting pictures over the years and I always really like what I get. Not sure what it is about those, the camo blending in with the landscape, or what!! But I love what I get each time!

Thank you Caleb for being so photogenic, and hanging in there with the heat. He never complained!!!

Bryce - Brookville High - Scenic farm with lake Senior Photoshoot, Lynchburg VA

It was a beautiful evening for Bryce’s senior portraits. We met at his family land where they spend time. It was perfect to photograph on. He did some fishing, caught a huge catfish and two other fish. Then we went to the Evington Volunteer Fire Department where he volunteers. It was a fantastic evening! Thank you Bryce for having me take your senior portraits.

Annie - Brookville High - Class of 2019/ Spring flowers Senior Session, Lynchburg VA

I am really enjoying these spring time sessions. The weather is perfect, not humid and the flowers are blooming! This may become my favorite time to shoot! Except the pollen of course. Annie and I went to the Old City Cemetery for her session. Always a beautiful location! We were surrounded by gorgeous flowers. Not a bad way to spend an evening.
